Plausible Juanability

I left school early. School and I never agreed on what was worth my time. I went to the
library instead, and i read comic books, and I kept my own dictionary and my own
thesaurus close by.

Growing up around Spanish helped. In Spanish you can see how a word is put together~
the root, the small pieces added on the front or back, the way one word turns into another
by switching parts. Once you notice that, you start seeing it in English too. English just
hides it better.

So I would sit and plat. I would build words. I would imagine them showing up in a story
or a movie. I would chuckle to myself when one of them landed right. I never showed 
anybody. I figured nobody would get it, or worse, they would tell me I was doing it wrong.

I am not doing this to be better than anybody . I am not trying to impress anyone or claim 
anything. I fifty plus years into this life, and i have decided I want to do what I have 
always quietly enjoyed ~ out loud, in public, with my name on it. that is all.

The word for this month is one I have been carrying for a while.
